Weight Control Part 2 – Following The Diet

HOW TO FOLLOW THE DIET
When you first look at the diet list you will see that there are no quantitative limitations and that YOU can eat bacon and eggs, corned beef, pastrami, spareribs, duckling, you may say "HOW can I lose weight on this?"

Well, we’ve already discussed that, but it’s worth repeating.  The reason you can lose weight is that when there are no carbohydrates for fuel, the body is forced to burn its own fat.  It really doesn’t make any difference how rich the zero-carbohydrate foods are, since without carbohydrates very little protein and fat can be stored as fat, so that no caloric deficit is needed.  This is why the diet works.

If the diet is working correctly, you will be free from hunger.  You will notice an increase in your well-being or general health.  You will notice the pounds dropping off and the decrease in your waistline.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT TO LOSE ON THE HIGH CALORIE DIET?

At the end of the first week following this basic zero-carbohydrate diet, most wrestlers will have lost seven or eight pounds. If you are ahead of the schedule, fine.  If you are behind that schedule, it may be that you have always been a slow loser when it comes to weight loss.  You would know that from your experiments with other diets.  This does not mean that you should be discouraged.  You are still going to lose weight.  You can be certain that this diet will work for you.

Now this diet is fixed or used as it is intended only until the weight desired is reached.  Once you reach the weight desired, you may begin to adjust the diet to the point that you may be able to maintain your weight and at the same time increase your carbohydrates.

To receive a copy of the diet, just post a request and a copy will be sent to you.
Good luck with your weight control.
